Built in 1854 as the Golden Point Hotel, it was soon to become the Terminus Hotel as construction of the Newport to Geelong and Ballarat line neared its completion in 1857. It is remarkable for its 3 storeys and its bowed corner, complete with curved window-joinery and entrance doors.
